HOUSE OF CARDS - NETFLIX - SPECIAL SHOOT TEASER

The CHALLENGE: In the wake of Kevin Spacey’s firing from the show, Netflix came to us for ideas we could shoot with Robin Wright to relaunch the series, now that she was taking over the lead role.

The SOLUTION: I came up with the idea of showing a White House in chaos as footsteps in heels make their way through the West Wing. As we enter the Oval Office, we reveal Robin Wright behind the Resolute Desk as she turns to camera and says “we’re just getting started” letting audiences know that the journey they’ve been on with a show they’ve loved is far from over.

The RESULT: Netflix loved this teaser so much they bought airtime for it on the Oscars, where it was viewed by millions of people. The premiere episode of the final season was watched in over 3 million homes, making it one of the best launches in the show’s wildly successful run.
